Anyone selecting seats today? Buehler? Anyone? Buehler?

  • I got into the site but couldn't seem to do anything.

  • I think only people w/ over 250 points are selecting at this point. Sadly, I am not there yet.

Did you get an email stating that? This my first year with season tickets since graduating 8 years ago. Thanks for any info.

I've got to select seats tomorrow @ 2:40 EST. I've looked at the website and the specifics are quite lacking as to the process of selecting seats. My Brother did this last year, he's on the road tomorrow so I'm the designated go-to.

They indicate that you need to sign into your account and I've done so, but no specifics as to the steps involved in selection seats. Typical PSU if you ask me.

Anyway I went to their Virtual Venue site and they indicate that this is NOT where you select seats. So what is the actual process? Anyone know? If I log into my Acct. tomorrow at the designated time, will there be a new link?

I'm trying to dress rehearse for this since it is my first time selecting seats. I don't want to screw it up.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Cheers!

Last year I got an email stating my designated day and time based on points. You then log in at that time to the virtual venue. I forget specific colorz but seats that were chosen or not in your giving level were blacked out. Seats that you could select were white or blue maybe.

  • I'm at 2:20 Friday. I guess (from what I read), that if it's too confusing I can just keep my old seats and not change. They aren't bad ones, just looking to see if I could do better.

  • I selected yesterday. Same setup as last year. You have to use a credit card to purchase the tix after you are finished. So even though the deadline for paying for tix is May 1, expect to purchase the tix with credit card at end of selection. Honestly, i was only looking at WE, WD, WF area, and there werent as many seats as you would expect. However, the upper levels had a significant amount. So i think you'll still see @ 10,000 seats available at the end of this process. People are upgrading / downgrading not really purchasing new ones.

  • Do we have to log on and "renew" our tickets for the same seats even if we aren't switching seat locations or can we just wait for the bill in the mail/pay online closer to 5/1 deadline if we are keeping our same seats?

You do not have to log in and do anything if you are keeping the same seats

That's what I thought. Thanks. I just wanted clarification.

  • Just finished my selection. As stated above, I also ended up keeping my seats. I'm in EF and was only looking to move to EE. Basically, impossible. EF did have a few good selections though. Upper levels are available. Selection process was the same as last year. The good thing is that there is no risk in losing your current seats. You can shop around to see if anything better is out there. Pics attached for those who have not done this yet...

  • I'll stay where I'm at - I like my seats and the people that sit next to me are polite.

  • I pick friday. Was hoping for wj close to field. Sort of frustrating to not be able to see what open ahead of time...

  • I selected on Wednesday. It took me a few minutes to figure out the process. Once I got onto the Virtual Venue and selected section WF, it was very obvious which seats were available. The 'red' seats were not available and the 'green' seats were available. I found 4 seats on the aisle in WV-row 25 and scooped 'em up.

The process was fairlly intuitive, but there were no real good instructions on 'How to'. I fault the PSU NLC for that. Although, perhaps they expect a PSU alum should be smart enough to figure it out themselves. Took me less than 15 min. as a first-timer to upgrade my seats. Would have been less than a minute had the NLC provided clear and succinct instructions.

Alas, we are PSU with the conservative, no-nothing BOT that stood on the sidelines as the Sandicksky scandal unfolded.

I'm voting for NOT the incumbents on the BOT this time around! I hope you will too.

    Cheers!

    cheers

  • You wouldn't happen to have a screenshot of sections EBU and WBU would you?

    stellfox7

  • I did and it works fine. Issue is that I did not really find any seats better than the one's I had. Looks like many empty ones in the upper sections, but I did not want to go there.
