sorry, caught the last part so not sure what his name was off hand, I'm sure he'll have it posted but in his opinion, the state basically is making stuff up to put the blame on Penn State to cover up their failure in 1998. He was pretty technical with how it's shown in the report that the emails had been altered that the normal person would never catch but he being a federal investigator noticed immediately. Can't wait for his report to come out now and said their was a lot more stuff he didn't want to get into at the moment.

Damn. Pass the popcorn. Honestly, you cannot write a better movie script than this stuff. What a ride.

I appreciate the potential of all of this but does anyone question why this 'investigator' would go on Slaten's show. I know he's been very on top of this issue from the start but he's still just a sports radio host from St. Louis.

My guess is that all major media outlets have no desire to put someone on who actually has a viewpoint other than the one they've been spouting for months now. Not to mention someone who might actually be talking from a point of fact.

Would this investigator know what the original emails looked like? Or does he just know they have been doctored like a Dan Rather 60 minutes piece? For all we know, Freeh could have made them more PSU friendly by only implicating a few. Idk. Just playing devil's advocate here.

I need more information. Is he analyzing the "style" of the writers, or looking for notes that don't fit the date of the email? I can't think of what else he would be doing without seeing the originals.

I really wish this dude was not a PSU alum. He will get no street cred even if he's 100% legit.

I listened to the whole thing.... He is one of the PS4RS attorneys.

Here is a run down I heard:
•Highly suspects the leaked emails that incriminated Joe Paterno were altered, forged and outright fakes.
•Titles/subject matters in the subject lines were changed, dates were altered and emails that a computer would naturally be in sequence are out of order.
•They are trying to get the original emails from Penn State to prove it.
•Suspects the person who altered the emails is the same person who leaked them.
•Stated that when their investigation is complete and released, he has no doubt there will be a federal investigation and people will go to jail.
