Too far for me

Anyone know if it will be on TV for those of us in State College?

Ppl seriously have too much time on there hands if there gonna attend a press conference for HS kid. I'm looking forward to him committing to us. But I'll just wait for the news to come from here. Nothing wrong with showing support though.

I could easily go but it just seems creepy to me to go.

If I lived near him, I'd go.... why not support the kid?....

However... my anger management may not be quite where it needs to be currently..... so if he doesn't pick Penn State... it would likely be a very bad idea to attend....

But really... I don't see the big deal in going.... better than whatever I would likely be doing at work / or for lunch anyway.... could be a pretty big moment in Penn State history when it is all written. Huge transition era.... potentially a very big part of the recovery process.

If I had the chance, I would def'ly go. Like someone mentioned b4, the kid has worked really hard to get to this stage, then why not support him? If it was your son, who worked his tail off and got scholorship offers from pretty much every elite university in the land, wouldnt you want more people to come and join in on the celebrations (when he chooses his dream university)..? It is a big moment in his life, n he is a local kid, so if you have the chance, then you shud def'ly go. #ChoosePSU :)

Let me know when they have a ceremony and big public display for some kid choosing between a free ride to some schools based on his/her academic merit.

Well they have awards ceremonies for that all the time actually.

Tell me when 110,000 people pay up to hundreds of dollars to watch a kid take a sociology exam.

If my son had a press conference to announce his choice of schools I'd beat his ass for being a prima donna.
