Well, technically, Ritalin would not be prescribed for adult ADD. It actually has the opposite effect on adults (hyperactivity) as it does kids (sluggishness, roughly speaking).
I've been to a few schools where the parents take their kids Ritalin to either use it or sell it themselves. Awesome, huh?

Not trying to get way off topic, but yeah, that's quite an epidemic with a few meds on the market right now. My niece has a condition which requires a similar type of medication. My sister has been approached on numerous occasions by another parent in her daughter's pre-school class inquiring about 'borrowing' 'extra' meds. Needless to say, it's an uncomfortable situation.

The sooner we offer this kid, the less we'll be late to the party. I know Bama throws out tons of offers, but I'd have to think more big offers are headed this kid's way.
