Looks like he was at the game this weekend and had a great time. Hoping for an offer and sounds like PSU would jump to the top. Big kid! I'm intrigued, just wondering if the staff offers another offensive lineman. He and Mahone would make a nice guard tandem.

Don't see the staff going after another OL, especially interior. Maybe they're looking at him as a DL? Would be my guess.

I believe you take the best player available and figure it out. he certainly is one of the best remaining that has interest (or so it appears)

Has anyone seen any film. Is Officer an OT or DT prospect? Would assume that PSU is only looking for those positions.

Most of it is him bullying tiny kids... I dunno what to make of it... Sometimes he moves his feet well and carries out the block, other times, his feet aren't moving and he just destroyed the kid with his hand punch... Calling MTayl.

with 15 spots/year and 65 total, I'm not sure that approach is feasible. We have real needs and limited wiggle room. If we start taking the "best available" approach, we could end up in trouble. I haven't seen a break down yet of needs though and it may come down to a decision that makes sense. I certainly don't envy this staff right now, they have a very difficult task for the next few years.

Looks like he is playing against kids 100 lbs. lighter than him. I sure ain't no guru, but I expect that our staff has him figured out pretty well. Intersting to say the least!
