Perfectly fine with him going to OSU, I thought he was good but is a little overrated based on his rankings.

Is it really fair to be calling high school kids overrated? Alot of you guys on here seem to do that. There high school kids for gods sake not professional athletes.

Also, you guys need a lot of help. Making light of and jokes of what happened and wishing more bad things would come out (as if it is not already terrible) just so our fball program gets hurt is the definition of serious problems from mental to character and so forth.

I was not part of that crowd. I had a great deal of respect for Joe Pa. His dedication to PSU, the students and student athletes was unparalleled. I wish it ended better for him, college football won't be the same.

Eh, it's the vocal minority that are always remembered the most. The vast majority of OSU fans I've met are fine people. One of my roommates in law school was an OSU grad (another was a Michigan grad...couldn't have been more perfect), and he was fuming at the way this was handled. One of my best friends, and one of the best fans of college football period. Any time I read crap from random trolls I remember that his entire family are great fans, and those are the people I like to think about when I think of OSU fans.

  • You PSU fans are civilized, that's refreshing. I wish you folks well, except on 10/27/12.

  • Didn't realize Tracy Sprinkle also committed to OSU on 4/17/12...didn't see that mentioned anywhere...he was considering PSU a lil at one time or another.

I was hoping for some good news this weekend....oh well. Recruiting has it's highs and lows.

    rebounding? 2005 champs, 2008 champs.

    11 wins 9 wins 9 wins 11 wins 11 wins 7 wins 9 wins

Looks to me that Penn State was doing just fine.

If thats your standard, then have it! Buckeye nation is pissed with a 9 win season... Its Beat Michigan, B1G Title, BCS win, or bust... Anything less is a horrible season as was last season. 9-4 is nothing to be proud of considering you get 3 cupcakes in non-conference play assuming you play 1 good non-conf team/year like you guys have done with Bama, Nebraska, etc.

So you're saying that before Tressel came along "Buckeye Nation" was in a state of perpetual misery for decades?

That's ridiculous. If you can't find any reason to be positive over a 9-win season maybe you should stop following sports.

I think most reasonable PSU fans understood the self imposed restrictions under which we were working with the previous regime. Annual conference titles, much less a National title, were not reasonable expectations under the circumstances. And there was no way to change the circumstances. The new regime has made plenty of changes which have placed us on a path toward that type of success, yet several of them are also completely unproven at this level in their current roles. PSU doesn't necessarily need to 'rebound' from something, but it does need to shift to a higher tier of competitiveness. Once we have done so for a few years, those types of expectations will be the norm from the fanbase. A friend and I were even commenting about this yesterday while watching the spring game...following PSU football has been more about non-football related issues than the actual sport for the past decade. You wouldn't quite understand that unless you followed it on a daily basis. Now, we're back to strictly football with this new regime. The other distractions have gone away. The staff are mostly unknown low-key football junkies rather than spectacles. It's surreal, and actually a lot less interesting. We've lost the endless drama which made boards like this go in circles for months on end. But, the football program should be more successful as a result of it. We'll share your level of expectation soon, but we need to take a few steps first.

The Tressel years spoiled me and I won't lower my expectations because I know how dominant we can can be. We excelled largely in part due to a weak conference but nonetheless, success is success, and losing 4 times in 1 season only happened once under Tressel, his first year. I'll never stop following sports, its boom or bust. When you predict a loss, are you happy when it happens? Im sure as hell not lol...

    Undergraduate Program

The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business

U.S News and World Report 2012

14th overall 6th among public universities

5th - Supply Chain Management and Logistics

6th - Production and Operations Management

    10th - Accounting

    11th - Finance

    19th - Marketing

The Fisher College of Business UG program is one of the best in the world. This discussion is silly. psu has a great UG B-School also.

An undergraduate business degree and a dime will get you nowhere...unless you go into sales. My point is that these rankings are worthless.

Anthony Anzalone thinks he's leaving Ohio State after 4 years with a bachelor's and master's degree. That about right?
