Add Joe Paterno's name back to the Big Ten Championship Trophy

I just received an email asking me to sign a petition to have Coach Paterno's name returned to the Big Ten Championship Trophy. I apologize if this has been posted already - but I haven't seen it. For those of you interested, it's set up through Change.org with a copy being sent to a B1G President on a rotating basis with each signature. Thanks Josh! I hope a lot of people will sign it AND pass it on.
There's a part of me that would like to tell Delaney and the Conference to "shove it". But, it shouldn't have been removed in the first place and he certainly deserves to be recognized.
"He deserved better" ........... a lot better!!!

Hate to say it but it is never going to happen as long as the Big 10 is Chicago. Looks like it is BOB's duty to win this trophy every year so we can stick a Joe Paterno post it note on the trophey every year and give the rest of the haters a big __U!

It's going to take more than just signatures from PSU fans and will require lobbying from the PSU administration and support from other schools or fan bases to get Joe's name back on the trophy. But if we can get a hundred thousand signatures, it will force Delany to address the topic and put him in the uncomfortable spot of having to take a position.

I think he already took a position when the name was removed. It's a shame that one incident would cause this to happen. As an OSU fan I have a similar feeling about how Woody Hayes ended his career. I know it was different but 2 great coaches deserved a better finish to their fine careers.
