Dang. I feel bad for him. I know how he feels too because I missed more than half of my senior season with a dislocated shoulder. (happened twice)

Heard about this and just came to offer my support. Hope it all heals well and he's just itching to go as soon as he gets to PSU.

that sucks, he was such a big supporter(and still will be) of psu, it sucks he will miss all those top skill player camps, where he could go up against other top competition

He will only work that much harder to come back strong for 2013...
If we are trying to find silver lining, he now has time to be up at games this fall to help recruit as we all know he is an asset in this area...

I bet the most disappointed person in all of this is his head coach...not just because he lost a good player, but because he won't have more opportunities to upstage Adam for his own personal aggrandizement like he did during Adam's college decision ceremony.

A torn ACL isn't that bad (mind you it's not good) but it'd be worse if there was other damage. From the sounds of it, there isn't any other damage, and I would suspect he should be 100% by the time he reports for summer workouts.

That's too bad that he has to miss his senior year of football. Agree with others on that doctors and trainers have come a long, long way in taking care of knee injuries. I would have been really concerned if the article read: "Brenneman sufers concussion". Good luck young man!

Damn....that is a tough break for AB. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery and can be ready to go from day one once he steps foot on the campus a year from now to begin summer camp.

Man, I hate it when this happens to kids who haven't had a chance to take a college snap yet.
If you'll remember Chryst was after Breneman pretty hard before Breneman chose PSU.
I didn't know the NCAA allowed this even before a LOI was signed.
"Breneman also said he is working with the Penn State medical staff within NCAA guidelines, and the plan is for Nittany Lions team doctor Wayne Sebastianelli to perform his surgery."
