I live to try to diminish your level of irritation,
but I'm not sure where you'd recommend this post be put, other than either the trash or a thread labelled "Everything I Don't Care About Because It Isn't Directly About Football." I looked at the posts on the first page, and don't see any other reasonable place to put this. I hope to be forgiven.

You can create a thread titled: "Information on [insert group]'s rallies" and update it with each rally you intend to hold. Similarly, you guys could create a "PS4RS Findings thread" or a "framingjoepaterno.com findings thread." I don't see why my post irritates you. These threads tend to end in pissing matches and it's annoying, to me, to see multiple of said pissing matches daily. Hence, my suggestion.
A simple "no thank you" would have been a more appropriate response than to put me down. But that's your prerogative. Please continue to downvote my suggestions.

To those of you who remain angry and frustrated by the massive failures of the BOT and Erickson over the past eighteen or so months, I would suggest that you keep that anger and frustration alive and well for a short while. If you missed the rally on September 15th, you will have another opportunity to stand with other Penn Staters, and sooner than you might think. October is going to be an "interesting" month for all of us.

I prefer when there is new info that there is a new thread. I dont visit threads much once they hit a certain length as I figure they have just turned into a new said pissing match. I understand that some arent interested...but then again some are. I like to see what is going on, new happenings, new articles or blogs or whatever(depending on the topic). To each their own on this one I suppose.

Ditto.
I'd rather keep the majority of posts on this board related to PSU sports and other sports rather than the lack of action/inaction from PSU's administration through this whole ordeal.

Perhaps you're right about my reaction. In fact, though, I have primarily posted here when an upcoming event was almost here (hence my reaction to your reaction), and I have no desire to force myself or my particular "political" interests on those who don't care about them. I will endeavor to keep this stuff to a minimum, and keep my finger off the downvote button.
I'd actually hoped that my previous post came off as snarky rather than nasty--the latter was not my intent. Sorry.

This board has hardly any mention of the Board/investigating, and certainly far less than its counterparts. It's not like David's threads are cluttering up the first page of the site. I'd say an overwhelming majority of the posts on this board do not refer to this topic. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I find getting to the bottom of this and replacing Board members as slightly more important than what seasonal beer people like.
Not meant to be an attack on you, but sometimes the apathy on this board gets to me.

Point taken.
I'd just rather come to the board to read about PSU sports and other sports than the latest article from PS4RS or any other group trying to make headlines and do what our administration didn't. While I appreciate the efforts and passion of those groups, I'd rather just come here to talk/read about sports and that's it.
Bottom line, it is what it is and this is a message board and it's the only one on this site, for now.

Exactly. This is the great thing about thread view. With one quick glance at a 200+ message thread, you can see all the individual discussions and know exactly whether it's something you're interested in or not. Encourages so much more participation.
I'm like you, once a topic view "thread" hits a certain length, I don't even bother with it anymore.
