1998 ALDS.. All Im gonna say about him.. If I lose can I at least get a claw and antlers picture?
EDIT:I dont consider Pudge any kind of Yankee.

Baseball is almost entirely an individual sport with a collection of people. You could hit a home run every at bat, and be on a terrible team and not make the playoffs. To tell me that person is not the most valuable player because someone else added some value, but considerably less, to a playoff team is crazy IMO.

Wins Over Replacement Value is where it's at.

Yeah, Indy was pathetic last season. (no offense mtayl)
I thought Peyton was good, but I didn't realize that he was literally the entire team.

Even though its pretty old school, I like Nolan Ryan's approach in terms of pitching: "just keep pitching until we say its time for you to stop."
Our rotation stayed remarkably healthy last year for the most part, after Hunter strained his groin and Neftali complained about shoulder inflammation early in the season. I'm not sure how medically sound this practice is, but it certainly worked for us, and established a nice attitude and approach for our pitchers to take whenever they took the mound.

I agree on Pudge. Then again, to me Pudge will always be Carlton Fisk. And he is certainly no Yankee!

Fisk in terms of that nickname was his long before Ivan Rodriguez ever stepped foot onto a baseball field. I was referring to the nickname, not comparing the two. Fisk's prime years were mainly on the Red Sox, and perhaps his first two on Chicago.
