Best player and most valuable player are two different things. The two most valuable players in the league are Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard. Their teams literally disintegrate without them. The Bulls are still an upper tier Playoff team without Rose.
Best all-around players...top group is Rose, Rondo, Paul, Kobe, Wade, LeBron, Duncan, Love, Howard. Guys like Durant and Carmelo are formidable offensive players, but neither is a defensive contributor whatsoever.

No. That's the difference. You came here to tell everyone the Sixers had a fluke win and would get trashed next year. Nobody here told you why the Sixers are great and better than the Bulls. Nobody asked you to be down on your team, but you asked Sixers fans to be down on their team.

Freaking furious.
Had the game in the bag and EVERYONE just laid an egg in the 4th.
Terrible personnel management by Collins in the 4th, Lou being his usual irrational shot-selecting self, Iggy being careless with his passes. Just honestly the worst 12 minutes of basketball they played all year.
Should be up 1-0 but they gave it away.

Lou thinks he's AI out there and I can't freaking stand it. Jrue had so many open looks he just couldn't hit. KG and Rondo were both absolutely lights out. Terrible quarter.
Sixers can hang in this and take this series. Win game 2 and bring it back even please.

I was at the game where they scored like 6 pts against the mavs in the 3rd. now THAT was the worst quarter of basketball ever.. but yea i know where you're coming from.
Lou's gotta go. every time i say it he does something good, but I still don't waver. The guy made 3 bad plays in the last 2 1/2 min that cost us the game. if he makes just one more good play and its a 93-92 win not 92-91loss.
Very happy with my boy Lavoy tonight though. TU baby.

Yep, he's hinted at it. I just hope he follows through.
The old management just left this roster in shambles. Sure there are pieces, but god did they mess things up.

good news about Lou is that apparently he is opting out at the end of the year so hopefully we dont pursue. doubtful, but a guy can wish cant he?
Would've loved to see if Lavoy could keep his calm in crunch time. really seem like nothing fazes him. facial expression doesn't even change when something good happens. The only time ive seen him smile is in his ESPN profile pic

Josh Smith was restricted and didn't really want to come to Philadelphia. It's pretty tough to get a young, wealthy NBA player to leave Atlanta.
