Lions247 was on hand to watch Penn State commitment Christian Hackenberg in action at practice for the Under Armour All-American Bowl on Wednesday in Orlando. Check out video of him throwing the ball and having some fun at some other positions as well.

Ok, now that B'oB is fully committed for 2013 w/ the idea that the NFL will be calling much sooner than later...does he simply play his best QB now, forget the redshirt and push to get this kid driving the bus asap? Coach must be thinking he doesn't have the time to waste?

I was thinking this morning that I'm glad I can enjoy the game when I get home from work now, not half wondering if Hack will be in the B&W.
I'm really glad OB is back. I'm excited to see these recruits play.

just sayin', w/ all the talk about a definite redshirt, allowing Hack time to develop and also being able to be more 'bowl eligible' because of the timing....does he reconsider the luxury of redshirting him. Maybe Bench is the best qb now w/ time in the system, but that could change quickly

My sense of the Hack-redshirt situation is that Hack and his family are the ones driving the RS decision, not O'B. I think if Hack said he wanted to play right away, O'B would allow him to compete for that job. But knowing that Hack wants the RS season and time to develop also allowing two bowl eligible years, O'B will honor that request.
Do I have it backwards here? That's my recollection though.
