Tim Frazier and Patrick Chambers will be in the Bryce Jordan Center often in January.
After opening the Big Ten season in a place they've historically struggled, the Penn State Nittany Lions have a pretty favorable conference slate.
The Nittany Lions will kick off the 2012-13 Big Ten season on Jan. 3 at Wisconsin, where Penn State hasn't won since January 1995. Four of their next five games, however, will be played in the Bryce Jordan Center, giving Patrick Chambers' squad a chance to build some momentum. The first of those games is against Indiana, pegged as a preseason No. 1 by several pundits.
Penn State also gets a bit of a break with its "one-plays" this season. The Nittany Lions will take on Michigan State, Ohio State, Illinois and Minnesota just once each, and get the Spartans and Buckeyes at home.
The Nittany Lions, who were 12-20 last season, return four players who started at least 16 games last season, led by first-team all-conference guard Tim Frazier.
