Smith is are top RB in the state of Illinois. I think he's a bonafide Big Ten back with good speed. Would be a good get for the Nittany Lions if they choose to offer.

One year this staff takes forever to offer kids, then the next year they push the kids to verbal early, they make no sense, it seems like they don't want to put the time in to get the top recruits.

Sean, I am new to this site. What are your thoughts on Mahone?? Most ppl think it's a PSU vs. Pitt battle. I, on the other hand, feel that ND has a good shot. He is simply a can't miss..
If we land Mahone, I think the staff should be patient with Harris, Lynch, and now this kid. They can all be very good RB's.

IF ifs and buts were berries and nuts, everyday would be Xmas!!
Mahone is NOT landed........We have ZERO RBs committments.............thus the push!

Sean said Mahone ran a 4.6 at the opening. Which seems like a legit 40. Also, to put it in perspective Reeves ran a 4.51 at the same event.
