Windsor (Colo.) offensive lineman Joey O'Connor has a handful of scholarships thus far, and he's emerging as a sleeper on the national radar.

O'Connor currently claims five offers.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound junior took a local visit recently and came away with another offer.
"I went down to Colorado for their junior day/spring game an we talked to the offensive line coach and the head coach, Coach Embree, and he said that I have a scholarship waiting there for me and they're real interested," he said. "They said that it's waiting for me if I want to go there."
O'Connor currently claims five offers - Colorado, Colorado State, Penn State, South Carolina and Utah. The Gamecocks recently came into the picture.
"It was weird, I got a letter in class one day from Steve Spurrier, Jr., the wide receivers coach, and he asked me to give him a call," said O'Connor. "So I called him and he said that I had a scholarship waiting for me and wanted me to come out there this summer or sometime next season to do an official visit."
The junior prospect has plans to visit Utah later this spring and will head to Penn State in June. He has been in contact with Bill Kenney and Bill Kavanaugh at Penn State.
"I'm coming out there June 24th and 25th," he said. "We've just been e-mailing them back and forth and telling them that we're just setting up the flights and everything and they're real excited to see me and we'll see how it goes. I'm actually going out there a day earlier than the camp so we can have our own little junior day so we'll talk about all the details when I get out there."
O'Connor was an all-state performer in 2010, and was the Tri-Valley Conference's Offensive Player of the Year last year.
