David Williams

Williams will be on the road this weekend.

Earlier this week, David Williams watched friend Will Fuller commit to Penn State. Since making his decision, Fuller has been on Williams' case to join him in Happy Valley.

this reminds me of the situation with redd and fortt.. Redd committed really early after the coaching staff changed their minds over offering Silas as a RB rather than a DB.. And we all knew that Redd's training partner was Fortt.. Fortt waited a while and said that Silas' commitment wouldn't have an effect on his recruitment, yet he ended up here.. Similar to the cam williams + reeves bond last year as well as the dwill + king combo years back.. I like our chances a lot more now...

Only good things can come out of Fuller committing and being in Williams ear constantly. Fingers crossed it works out, but hopefully Fuller doesn't become overbearing at the same time

It certainly cant hurt having a teammate in the ear. He wants to experience the recruiting process, which I don't blame a recruit at all. At the end of the day, I do believe he is PSU all the way.

IIRC, Fortt was really interested in Georgia, and they completely whiffed on his visit - he just didn't feel simpatico with the other recruits.
Every kid's different - but they are spending the next 3-5 years at whatever school they choose and it sure as hell helps to be surrounded by friends.

With Isaac and Davis already commited to USC, I don't think their is even a chance he will end up there!

Like psubill if his visit to USC goes well I see them jumping us in this process. It just seems Williams wants to go somewhere other then PSU, and if nothing else feels right then he will come back to PSU in a sense. He likes PSU, he feels comfortable at PSU, yet he still wants to search his options. You can't blame a kid for seeing what's beyond the state lines.

Not sure who mentioned it but Williams recruitment seems very similar to Justin Browns. Everyone said PSU was in the lead, most fans did not believe it and wondered why he was taking so long to commit and thought he was going else and then he committed to PSU like everyone in the know had been saying from the beginning. He is enjoying taking visits and who can blame him.
