Temple is Dean's first scholarship offer.
Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt linebacker Brock Dean got on the board on Saturday with his first offer, as an in state program came through with a verbal scholarship offer.

Dean left Philadelphia very impressed with the Owls.
"Their practice was very high tempo, intense and competitive," he said. "They're a very tough, physical football team and they have a great new coaching staff. Their program is on the rise and in great hands playing for Coach Addazio."
The 6-foot-1, 211-pound prospect is also hearing from Cincinnati, Maryland, Northwestern, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Rutgers. He visited Penn State last weekend.
Dean was one of many stars on defense last season for Bishop McDevitt, which went all the way to the PIAA Finals in December. He recorded 93 tackles from his linebacker position and was a second team all-state pick. He was also a member of the Patriot-News' Platinum 33 team and was a first team all-league selection.
