Denman now has eight scholarship offers.
Fairless Hills (Pa.) Pennsbury offensive lineman J.J. Denman thought he had an offer from Penn State… then he didn't. Now, he's clear on the situation.
"On Monday I got back in touch with Coach McQueary, and he cleared things up with me and told me that I've had the offer from them for a while but I just didn't put the pieces together to know that I had the offer before," he said. "I was excited when he said that I had it and stuff. They're high on my list."
The big tackle now has eight scholarship offers, and he will begin taking spring visits in the very near future. He will be at Rutgers this weekend for a lineman showcase and will follow that with two potential junior day trips.
"I'm coming up to Penn State for a spring practice soon," he said. "I forget the date, I''ll have to talk to Coach McQueary to find out but I think it's in March. I think I might go to a junior day at Notre Dame on the 26th, too."
He also added another offer from the Big East on Tuesday.
"I just got an offer from Syracuse today," he said. "I thought it was cool because I haven't really talked to them a whole lot."
Denman said that he would likely make a decision after his senior season.
