Hicks is planning on a number of stops this summer.

Solon (Ohio) four-star Darian Hicks is one of the top uncommitted prospects on many boards at cornerback, and he got a visit from Penn State assistant John Butler last week.

He and Barnwell would be great additions, but I'm not sure we take that many corners. It would strengthen a position that we have been week on for years. Aggressive corners that play man to man. Not to mention, I love plucking talented prospects from Ohio. It's a new era indeed.

Sean..any idea where we stand with Hicks? Doesnt seem to give that much as a way as a favorite..that being said he is a BIG need!

I live in Cleveland. Very good player. Saw him twice last year. Ross Douglass, Sol Warfield and Hicks are the best DB's in North East Ohio.

True, he has been rumored to be an MSU lean for a while now. We offered him early and he seems to be our #1 corner on our board (with Warfield right behind). But the way he talks if he gets an OSU or UM offer everything changes...I'm sure he'll look closely into you guys, also.
