London seems to be getting kids excited about visiting. Love to see that.
I watched this kid's film. It was pretty impressive, actually. He would be a fine 2nd TE in this class.

My thought is that Wisconsin has reached it's recruiting peak ... they have won 10 games or more in 5 of the last 7 years. If they can't keep commits especially these early ones they will have some trouble. Nice to see the instate talent looking at PSU.

Wiscy hit the jackpot in the free agent market with Russell Wilson last year. Without him, they were a 8 or 9 win team. Their D was so-so. As always, their OL and running game were pretty good. But as with all Wiscy teams in the past decade, if you got ahead of them, without Wilson they would have had trouble coming from behind.
Wiscy competes with everyone else in the Big Ten (OSU, UM, MSU, Minny, Ill, etc.) for the top recruits in the Midwest. There's only so much talent to go around.

Just doesn't make sense why any kid would commit a year and a half or more before signing day.

sure it does. Lock in your spot and if you are injured during basketball season or whatever, and they will likely keep your scholarship offer if you have already committed. Nothing locks you out from looking elsewhere later if you want. I think these kids are smart for gaming the system even if it might not be morally correct to all.

I hope this kid is better than his stats. Not a great receiving junior season for a AA school in a state with four classifications. AB plays for a AAAA school, facing a lot tougher competition than Orndorff.
If Adam is our top target for TE, then Orndorff has to be at best a three or four, IMO.

Wisconjsin's Scout board has a front page article on this, supposedly debunking Orndoff's interest in looking around. It is a premium article however. I doubt a kid is going to come right out and just announce that he is decommitting, unless he is very sure that he will.

That's fine. Brent Williams said Cam's was extremely solid after a trip to OSU as well. He's obviously interested. I think Pitt will be a big player as well.

Makes no sense to commit to Wisconsin early unless you have connections to the school. If he's that good the offer will be there throughout his SR year.

The same can be said about Kiffin at USC. They received a commit from a JUCO RB named York this year. He suffered a knee injury his offer was pulled, luckily he ended up at Utah.
