Cooper will no longer be visiting Penn State this weekend.
Things can change instantly in recruiting, just ask Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha defensive tackle Darian Cooper.
Cooper posted on his Facebook page Wednesday afternoon that his top three schools were now Georgia Tech, Iowa and Michigan State.
Curiously absent from the list was Penn State, where he intended to visit this weekend. His scheduled official visit is now off, and he was informed by Penn State assistant Larry Johnson, Sr., that the Nittany Lions currently do not have room in their Class of 2011.
"I just talked to [Johnson] and he said another coach got a commitment from a defensive tackle and they couldn't turn him down," said Cooper. "He said it's a numbers game, but he said if anything opens up he will contact me."
Cooper was rumored to have been a Penn State lean, and was not happy to hear the news.
"They had everything I was looking for," he said.
